Installation of two new DNS servers today.
As part of the implementation of our new infrastructure, after 18 years of good and loyal service, we replaced our DNS servers which were set up in 2002 when our company was created.
Monitored and maintained with great attention without ever failing, the old DNS servers have taken a well-deserved retirement.
DNS servers are important elements in an infrastructure like ours since they are responsible for converting domain names into IP addresses which themselves are assigned and dedicated to servers having various uses, for example allowing a website to appear or even to an e-mail to be sent and arrive at its recipient.
